Buyer

The individual or entity placing an order or making a purchase from In Moment Like This, whether in person or online.

Products and Pricing

We offer the following products:

  • Original watercolour paintings — unique, hand-painted originals on paper
  • Art prints — high-quality reproductions of original watercolour artworks, available in A3, A4, and A5 formats
  • Greeting cards — A6 foldable cards printed with original artwork
  • Stickers — printed sticker sheets featuring original artwork designs

All prices are stated in Danish kroner (DKK) and include VAT at the applicable rate (see section 3).

VAT

In Moment Like This is VAT-registered in Denmark (CVR: 41448172).

  • Reproductions (art prints, greeting cards, stickers): VAT is charged at the standard Danish rate of 25%.
  • Original paintings: These qualify as kunstgenstande under the Danish VAT Act (ML § 69, stk. 4). VAT is calculated on a reduced basis (20% of the sale price), resulting in an effective rate of 5% of the sale price.

VAT is included in all displayed prices.

payment

In-person sales (art markets, flea markets, festivals): Payment is accepted by cash or MobilePay.

Online sales: Payment is accepted by MobilePay and other payment methods, e.g. credit/debit card. Orders are confirmed once payment has been received in full. We do not store payment card details.

Delivery

In-person purchases: Products are handed over immediately at the point of sale.

Online orders: Orders are dispatched within 3–5 business days of confirmed payment. Delivery is by PostNord / GLS / other carrier to the address provided at checkout. Shipping costs are displayed at checkout before the order is placed.

We are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier once the parcel has been dispatched. If a parcel is lost or damaged in transit, please contact us at info@inmomentlikethis.dk and we will assist in resolving the matter.

Right of Withdrawal

Online purchases only — under the Danish Consumer Contracts Act (Forbrugeraftaleloven), you have the right to withdraw from a purchase made online within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason.

To exercise this right, notify us in writing before the deadline:

You may use the standard withdrawal form published by the Danish Consumer Ombudsman (Forbrugerombudsmanden), but this is not required. A clear statement of your intention to withdraw is sufficient.

The 14-day withdrawal period begins on the day you (or a designated third party, other than the carrier) physically receive the goods.

Exceptions — the right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Goods made to your specific order or clearly personalised.
  • Sealed goods that have been opened after delivery and are unsuitable for return on hygiene or health-protection grounds (if applicable).

In-person purchases (at markets or fairs): No statutory right of withdrawal applies to in-person sales. If you have a concern about a product purchased in person, please contact us and we will assess the situation in good faith.

Return of Goods

If you withdraw from an online purchase, you must return the goods to us without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us of your withdrawal.

Condition of returned goods: Goods must be returned in the same condition as received. You are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to assess their nature, characteristics, and function.

Costs: Return shipping costs are borne by the buyer unless we have agreed otherwise or we have delivered an incorrect or defective item.

Refunds: We will reimburse the purchase price (including standard outbound delivery costs) within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, or proof that they have been dispatched. Refunds are issued by the same payment method used for the original purchase, unless you have explicitly agreed to another method.

Defective Goods and Complaints

If a product you receive is defective or does not match the description, you are entitled to remedies under the Danish Sale of Goods Act (Købeloven) and the Consumer Sales Act (Forbrugerkøbeloven). You have a 24-month right of complaint for defects that were present at the time of delivery.

Please contact us as soon as possible after discovering a defect:

Include a description of the defect and, where possible, a photograph. We will respond promptly and propose a remedy (repair, replacement, or refund) as appropriate.

Complaints about minor deviations that do not materially affect the product (such as minor natural variation in handcrafted or printed items) will be assessed individually.

If we cannot resolve a complaint between us, you may bring the matter to:
